Hillview Speedway Club Inc will be holding the 2018 Annual General Meeting on Wedneasday July 4th, 2018. The adgenda includes Annual Reports from committee and the declaration of vacant committee followed by elections for the 2018-19 Committee. All positions will be declared vacant. End of season/ Dennis Moyle’s fair well Where- Newman Club When- Sunday 15/4/18 Time- 12.30pm onwards   Sunday roast buffet at $15 per head + bowls and drinks friends and family welcome to say goodbye to another season and a great friend of the clubs. Hope to see you all there. We are hyolding this event at the Newman Club as the Hilview Clubrooms and canteen are curently undergoing some upgrades, thanks to our wounderful sponsor Pindari Constructions    

Our own Craig "Cheezy" Clayton will be competing in the Street Stock National Title at Adelaide Motorpark. We will be showing the Live-Stream from Adelaide. We are expecting racing to commence around 1:30pm. The Club will be open around 12:00pm with a Suasage Sizzle lunch ($3ea). We will have a Sausage Sizzle 'dinner' around 5:00pm ($3ea). Members are reminded they are permitted 3 guests, who must be signed in. (Half year Adult Membership available for Jan-Jun - $20). There will be a $5 cover to pay for the data usage and, if needed, the price of streamng.

Busy Bee at the Track to do a quick cleanup before the second half of our season. With regular Busy Bee's we'll be able to stay on top of the Track cleanliness. Jobs to be done will be finallised in the next few weeks but some will be; Reposition rubbish bins around the track, Check there is no rubbish iin the pits, Assemble the small shed we had donated last year, Clean the kitchen and club-rooms. To lis a few possibilities.

The Members & Sponsors Family Day plans include fun for the children, and all those young at heart. We have booked the Lions Bouncy Castle and will set up a 'slip-n-slide' for the game at heart. Bring towels and clothing to get wet, sunscreen. A social event on our "Racing" calendar. Driving Members are encouraged to invite their sponsors along to visit our facility and see what you spend their money on. We should have the pool table set up for the older "kids" and looking at maybe some speedway video??? Please make sure you have RSVP'd by email or through the free ticketting at this site by Nov 25th so we can sort the catering. We have roast meat rolls with gravy and salad planned. "Grandad's Icecreams" will be there for desert.   

The 2017 East Pilbara Tyre Services - Ash Page Memorial Race meet will be held Friday 3rd & Saturday 4th November 2017. All classes racing (currenty Production Sedans, Street Stock Sedans, Formula 500s, Quads, Burnouts). Adults $10, Juniors (10-16) $5, Under 10 free - per night.  Members please show your Membership card for free entry.
